Woman’s Groundbreaking Accomplishment
Hattie Caraway was the first woman elected to serve a full term as a United States Senator. Caraway represented Arkansas. She was the first woman to preside over the Senate.
Techniques
Machine quilting, free motion quilting, fusible applique using the zigzag stitch on machine, photo transfer, thread painting, sketching on fabric with pencil, hand dyed fabric.
